What’s the Mercedes-Benz Service A Checklist?

  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
  • Tire inflation check and correction

  • Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

What’s the Mercedes-Benz Service B Checklist?

  • Oil Filter Replacement**
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter

Service A vs. Service B Intervals: How Do They Differ?

One of the main differences between Mercedes-Benz Service A and Mercedes-Benz Service B is time intervals. Again, Service is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Service B is recommended after 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first. When it comes to the actual services performed, Service A and B tasks are largely the same. However, during Service B, your vehicle will receive a brake fluid replacement and a cabin air filter replacement. Certain CLA and GLA AMG® models also receive an engine air filter replacement during Service B.
