The majority of new models are equipped with Mercedes-Benz DISTRONIC PLUS®, so how do you use it on the Sussex and Hackettstown roads? When you’re on a stretch of highway, just use these simple commands:

• The Mercedes-Benz DISTRONIC PLUS® controls are located on a level by your steering column, just like your standard cruise control system.
• Move the lever up and down to set your initial cruising speed.
• If you’d like to adjust your speed, move the lever up to speed up by one mile per hour or move the lever down to slow down by one mile per hour. Pressing the lever harder to adjust speed by 5 miles per hour instead.
• Pull the lever toward you to resume your last set cruising speed.
• Adjust the following distance with the knob at the end of the lever.
• Turn off Mercedes-Benz DISTRONIC PLUS® by pushing the brakes or pushing the lever away from you.
• The system will turn off automatically if the traffic stops completely. Tap the gas or pull the lever toward you to re-activate.

DISTRONIC PLUS® with Steering Assist is another advanced safety offering from Mercedes-Benz that keeps your vehicle centered in its lane.
